Sarah D. Seip, age 93, of Hatfield, PA, formerly of Levittown, PA, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Donald with whom she shared over 74 years of marriage. Born July 6, 1927, in Wiconisco, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Olive (Lupold) Miller.
She graduated from Dickinson High School in Jersey City, NJ. After high school, she attended Cadet Nurse's Training during WW II. Once her children were grown, she attended Bucks County Community College where she received her Associate Degree. She was the administrative assistant to the Director of Bucks County Technical School, was secretary to the Bucks County Technical School Board of Directors, as well as president of the secretarial association.
She loved the Lord and was active in church throughout her life, including singing many duets with her husband. She was a true homemaker who enjoyed baking and candy making for her family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing, traveling, and spending time with her family. She was active during the early formation of the Delaware Valley Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus.
In addition to her husband, Donald, she is survived by a son, David Seip of Langhorne and his wife, Leslie, a daughter, Donna Hodson of Franconia Township, and son, Jeffry Seip of Franconia Township and his wife, Janet; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Cletis Miller and his wife, Ann Fricke Miller.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, February 27, at Davisville Church, 325 Street Road, Southampton, PA 18966. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Sarah's name may be made to: Chestnut Hill Baptist Church, 2 Bethlehem Pike, Philadelphia, PA 19118.
