Robert William Burns, Jr., age 69, of Harleysville, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at his residence.  He was the beloved husband of Donna (Houchins) Burns with whom he shared over 46 years of marriage.

Born December 15, 1951 in Germantown, he was a son of the late Robert, Sr., and Virginia (Phipps) Burns.

Robert was a graduate of Cheltenham High School, class of 1970. After graduation, Robert enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving during Vietnam. Robert was a member of the Harleysville Community Fire Company Fire Police. He also was a baseball coach for Harleysville Baseball. Robert enjoyed sports and watching his favorite teams, the Phillies, Flyers, Eagles and Steelers. His family was most important to him and he cherished the times they spent together.

In addition to his wife Donna, he is survived by his 2 sons, Todd Burns and his wife, Derinda, of Harleysville, and Brian Burns and his fiancé, Katrina, of Bath, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Carter, Kendall, Kinsley and Bryson Burns; and brother Richard Burns and his wife, Anne Marie of Glenside, PA.

Services for Robert will be private.
