Diane Joan Hayes, 84, of Telford, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Jay Barry Hayes, with whom she shared 65 years of marriage.

Born in Sellersville, she was the daughter of the late James and Glenna Ruffo. Joan was a 1959 graduate of Souderton Area High School. She was a longtime member of Christ Reformed Church at Indian Creek in Telford and enjoyed making floral arrangements.

In addition to her husband, Joan is survived by her children, Holly Hayes (Ray Steinman), Michael Hayes (Dinah), and Darin Hayes (Cassie); her grandchildren, Chase (Iolanda), Mason (Annie), Terner (Chloe), Gabrielle, Ava, John, Ani, Chase, and Brynn; two great-granddaughters, Evangeline and Rosalee; and her sister, Mary Jane Ruffo-Rivera (Rafael).

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Debby Wenzel.

A memorial service for Joan will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 5, at Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, PA 18969, where the family will receive friends from 10:00–11:00 AM.
