H. Dean Bergey, age 73, of Telford, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Gloria Angela (Hallman) Bergey, with whom he shared over 50 years of marriage.

Born March 9, 1947, in Sellersville, he was a son of the late Harvey Godshall and Ruth Detweiler (Rush) Bergey.

Dean worked on the family farm from a young age and later was employed by Bergey's Chevrolet for more than 30 years, until his retirement in 2013. Dean enjoyed farming, home improvement shows,  being outdoors, and spending time with family, friends and his dogs. His "best friends" always wagged their tails in excitement to see him when he returned home. He cherished his family and will be greatly missed.

In addition to his wife Gloria, he is survived by his two sons, Tim and Chris; and his brother, Paul, and Paul's wife Jane.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Lowell.

A celebration of Dean's life will be held from 12-3 PM on Sunday, September 12, at the Franconia Heritage Restaurant, 508 Harleysville Pike, Telford, 18969, a service will be held at 12:30.
