William M. Wonder, 98, of Harleysville, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Lillian for over 70 years.
Born in Milford, Delaware, he was the son of the late Eugene Claude and Ruth Wonder. William served his country in the United States Marine Corps during WWII.
His life was rich and full of excitement. Bill was a pilot for American Airlines for 38 years as well as an extremely accomplished race car driver and engineer for over 50 years. He was an avid collector of exotic automobiles. He was a great man, and he will never be forgotten!
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, James and Billy; his sister, Jean; and one grandchild.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday, January 28, 2022, from 2-4 PM and again from 6-8PM at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc. 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, PA 18969. There will be a military honor guard at 8pm. A funeral and celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
