William H. Moore Jr. passed away peacefully with family at his home in Telford, PA on July 16, 2026.  He was 89.

He was born on June 27, 1937, in Philadelphia where he graduated from Olney High School and Drexel University College of Engineering.  He served in the US Air Force from 1961-65 as a 2nd Lieutenant.

He worked as a mechanical engineer for the US Forest Service and then the USDA. After retiring he worked as an engineering consultant on projects for companies such as Bell and Evans, Kellogg's, Land O Lakes, Blommer Chocolate Company and Mrs. T's Pierogies to name a few.  He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church of Harleysville and travelled the world for over 30 years with his late wife Carolyn Moore with various missions' groups building everything from clean water wells to orphanages in Haiti, Africa, and Papua New Guinea and other countries.

Bill and Carolyn fostered and mentored 10 teens during their marriage.

Bill is survived by his daughter Christine A. Moore- Seidel and her husband Blake Seidel of NYC and daughter Martha Moore-Hough, husband Sean Hough and granddaughters Fiona and Isla Hough of Telford, Pa.

A Memorial Service will be held at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 310 Covenant Ln. Harleysville, PA on August 22 at 11am.
