William W. Fridey, Jr., 86, of Souderton, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023.  He was the husband of Nancy (Dilks), with whom he shared 48 years of marriage.

Born in North Wales, he was a son of the late William and Harriet Fridey.  Bill was a graduate of Lansdale High School and had served in the Pennsylvania National Guard.

He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, kayaking, biking and traveling with his wife both here and abroad.  Bill was a member of Zion Mennonite Church, Souderton.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Anne Bodenberg and her husband, Adam; a granddaughter, Ava Bodenberg; and a sister, Patricia Shupe and her husband, Jack.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Fridey.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, August 11, at Zion Mennonite Church, 149 E. Cherry Lane, Souderton, PA 18964.  Interment will be private in Zion Memorial Gardens.
