Wilbur Nice Hendricks, 84, of Souderton, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021, at Souderton Mennonite Homes. He was the beloved husband of Rebecca (Bishop) Hendricks.
He was born on April 15, 1937, in Telford, the son of the late Paul H and Katie Alverda (Nice) Hendricks. He carried on his father's trade, building homes throughout Montgomery and Bucks counties. He was a man of integrity, impacting home, church, and community. He also used his skills to serve Christian missions around the globe. His greatest legacy was a love for the Bible. This love was evident in his character and continues to bless those who were influenced by him.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Denise Hendricks Baum and her husband, Tim Baum, of Telford, PA, W. Todd Hendricks and his wife, Karen R., of Harleysville, PA, Timothy P. Hendricks and his wife, Sara Lee, of Telford, PA, and T. Trent Hendricks and his wife, Rachel, of Koshkonong, MO; his siblings, Beulah Rittenhouse, Leverne Hendricks, and Katherine Bachert; 10 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Hendricks.
A private burial service was held at Blooming Glen Mennonite Church. A public memorial service is scheduled for 4:00 pm, Friday, December 10, 2021, at Blooming Glen Mennonite Church. The service will be followed immediately by a meal in the church's fellowship hall, to which all are welcome. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.WilliamsBergeyKoffel.com
