Obituary

Wayne Justh, age 73, of Hatfield, passed away on June 5, 2022, at Penn University Hospital in Philadelphia after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Wayne was born on February 3, 1949, to Lilian Schunk and Alex Justh in Bay Shore, Long Island. Wayne graduated from University of Miami with a degree in business administration. In 1975, Wayne was married to Linda Slysz, who was his partner in life for 47 years.

Wayne is survived by his wife Linda, daughter Jessica and her husband Chris, son Jason and his wife Jennifer, grandson Samuel, mother-in-law Irene, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and family too numerous to mention by name. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.

A self-proclaimed "road warrior", Wayne spent most of his adult life traveling the highways of New Jersey and Pennsylvania as a co-owner of Quality Dairy – a wholesale dairy distribution business. While at home, Wayne looked forward to starting each day with a newspaper and a cup of coffee, enjoying the cool breezes and sounds of nature in his screened-in porch. Wayne also enjoyed golf, the music of fellow Long Islander Billy Joel and settling into his favorite recliner at the end of a day with a sweet treat and his favorite shows, especially "The Sopranos". More than anything, Wayne loved being with his family. A loving husband and adoring father, simply put, Wayne never met a stranger. Born with a natural gift of forming instant connections and making a lasting impression on all he met, Wayne's selflessness and devotion to the people he loved will never be forgotten.

A remembrance service for Wayne will take place at 11:00 AM on Thursday June 9, 2022, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, where the family will greet guests from 10:00 – 10:45 AM.
