Warren Russell Youells, 67, a long-time resident of Franconia Township, PA, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday morning, August 15, 2023. He and his wife, Sue (Maharaj) Youells, celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary on April 11th of this year.

Born February 27, 1956, in Sellersville, PA, he was the son of the late Russell Clime Youells and Grace Helen (Gerhart) Youells. He was a 1974 graduate of Souderton High School and was one of only four people to have graduated from Temple University with five master's degrees.

Mr. Youells taught at several schools including Montgomery, Bucks, Cecil, and Delaware County Community Colleges, as well as in the Baltimore Public School District. He was certified to teach kindergarten through 12th grade as well as special education. History was his passion and was proud to have taught the subject for over 25 years at Montgomery County Community College. Warren was also a bus driver for Ryder, Lyons and for Transportation Services where he was frequently requested by the Souderton Area School District sports teams as their driver.

A long-time member of Christ Reformed Church at Indian Creek, he enjoyed being involved with community outreach. He was a model train enthusiast and often set up several train displays during the Christmas season. Warren was fond of his red pick-up trucks and loved his cats and enjoyed caring for and spending time with them. He was also a big fan of Johnny Cash and listened to his music frequently. Above all, he was a devoted and dedicated husband and father.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Kerion Jonana Youells and his fiancée, Izzy Martin, of Salford Township, PA; a sister, Wanda G. Kerver of Zionsville, PA; and a niece, Misti Rose Sorrento of Zionsville, PA.

Family will receive friends for his viewing from 10-10:45 am on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Christ Reformed Church at Indian Creek, 171 Church Road, Telford, PA, where the funeral service will take place at 11 am.
