Virginia C. Rumford, 101 years young, of the Peter Becker Community in Harleysville, PA entered heaven on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Ginny was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Rumford to whom she was married for 66 years.

Born January 9, 1922, in Worcester, PA, Ginny was a daughter of the late William C. and Elizabeth Hastings Cory. She was a long-time member of Central Presbyterian Church in Norristown and a 1939 graduate of Norristown Area High School. Ginny was an avid reader of novels and proficient card player.

Ginny is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Jerry Gerloff of Limerick Township and Deborah and Ken Kirk of Lansdale; four grandchildren and their spouses, Janice Gerloff and David Bonacci of Honeoye Falls, NY; Brian and Erin Kirk of Palm Harbor, FL; Steven and Haley Kirk of Fairfax, VA; Jason Gerloff and his partner Jennifer Boland of Amsterdam, NY; three great-grandchildren Owen Kirk, Emmerlyn Kirk, and Harper Kirk; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Saturday, July 15, 2023, 12:00 noon at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford PA 18969.

Interment will be private at Riverside Cemetery, Norristown, PA.
