Virginia Kay Kelly, 81, of Harleysville, died Friday, October 9, 2026. She was the wife of the late James Hugh Kelly, with whom she shared 45 years of marriage.

Born September 6, 1945, in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Paul Edwin and Martha Caroline (Trembley) Branstrom. She was a graduate of Broad Ripple High School in Indianapolis. Virginia was actively employed for Davita in their accounts receivable department and celebrated over 35 years with the company.

She enjoyed reading, quilting, knitting, sewing, and nature walks, and most of all she treasured time with her family.

Virginia is survived by her daughters, Catherine Cross and her husband David of Manning, South Carolina; Theresa Giannone and her husband Lawrence of Collegeville; and Coleen Scampton and her husband Richard of Gilbertsville; her granddaughter, Jasmine Clifton of Gilbertsville; and her great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Short, Jayden Lindsey, and Ethan Eckman.

Services will be private. Interment will be in Union Chapel Cemetery, Indianapolis.
