Obituary

Virginia "Ginny" Mae (Geyer) Fontaine, 92, of Collegeville, Pa, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at Pennsburg Manor.  Ginny was the daughter of the late Frank and Emma (Davis) Geyer. She was a longtime member of Wentz's United Church of Christ, Worcester, Pa. Ginny was the beloved wife of the late Robert K. She lived a life of service, both professionally and personally. She worked as a Certified Prosthetic Fitter for Royal Medical in Pottstown, served as a secretary alongside her youngest daughter at Health Insurance Solutions, and was most proud of her role as a devoted homemaker. Many will remember Ginny as a dedicated 4-H parent, volunteer, and fundraiser. She was known for her warm grace, resilience, and strength she carried through life's joys and challenges.  She will be remembered for her Sunday family dinners, as well as her love of baking cakes and pies, sewing, crocheting, card club and her co-ownership of "Fon-Ful Fashion" in Skippack, Pa with best friend Shirl.

Ginny is survived by her two daughters: Janell, significant other Dave Delp of Gilbertsville, PA; and Nanette, wife of Tom Poserina of Schwenksville, PA. She was a proud grandmother of Danielle (wife of Toni Lelaj); Gabrielle (wife of Ryan Williamson); Thomas Poserina; Gregg Poserina; and Mark Poserina (husband of Jamie). She is also survived by her nine great-grandchildren: Zachary and Lucas Williamson; Sabrina, Sebastian, and Sadie Lelaj; James Poserina; and Baya, Bailee, and Kenna Poserina, along with many loving nieces and nephews. Ginny is also survived by her sibling Carl Geyer of Barto, PA.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ginny was predeceased by her two brothers, Frank Geyer, Kenneth Geyer, and sister, Ruth Sibel.
