Vincent Joseph Capizzi, age 76, of Hatfield, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022, at home with his wife and daughter Shannon by his side. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Ann (Deviney) Capizzi, with whom he shared over 37 years of marriage.

Born September 18, 1946, in Norristown, he was a son of the late John and Catherine (Lo Console) Capizzi.

Vincent was a United States Air Force veteran, serving during Vietnam as an aircraft mechanic on the T-38 Talon. He was a long-time coach and board member of the Souderton Braves. Vincent loved being with family and joining them at Chickie's and Pete's and Phillies games.  He was a great friend and neighbor that you could always count on, and in the summer, you could always find him riding the lawn mower with his grandson Cole.

In addition to his wife Barbara, he is survived by his daughter Shannon Smith and her husband, Paul, and their son Cole; son John Capizzi, and daughter Kimberly Capizzi Rugg Webb.

A viewing for Vincent will take place on Friday, December 16, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford. Services and interment will be private.
