Victoria M. Burns, age 76, of Harleysville, formerly of Bethlehem, Palestine, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert Moge Burns, with whom she shared over 14 years of marriage.

Born July 9, 1946, in Chamelecon, Honduras, she was a daughter of the late Atallah and Faride (Nassar) Handal.

Victoria moved to the United States with her husband and children in 1972 with the loving support of Pearl Burns Galpin (Mother Pearl) and the late Stanley Burns.  After Albert's death in 1979, Victoria and her children moved to Bethlehem, PA.  Victoria enjoyed traveling and took several mission trips around the world.  She loved to work outside in her garden and had quite the green thumb.  However, her most important role was of mother and grandmother (Teta).  She was known to many as Teta and remembered mostly for her cooking and famous rice.

She is survived by her children, Hind Vanic and her husband, Randy, Merwan Moge and his wife, Lori, and Manale Jackson and her husband, Steve; grandchildren, Zachary Vanic, Chelsea Wyant, Evan Moge, and Malena, Avery and Brock Jackson; and a brother, Issa Handal and his wife, Nadia. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Mansour, Elias, Nabiha and Stella.

Victoria's funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, where the family will greet guests from 10:00 – 10:45 AM. Interment will be private.
