Verna Elaine Williams, 78, of Souderton, PA, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Souderton Mennonite Homes, where she was a resident.

Born in Erie, PA, she was the daughter of the late Wayne N. Williams and Geraldine Rodgers Williams. Elaine graduated from Rice Avenue Union High School, Girard, PA, in 1965 and earned a theology degree from Valley Forge Christian College in 1974. She retired after many years as an EKG monitor technician from Grandview Hospital in Sellersville, PA.

She is survived by her two brothers, David Williams (Esther) of Girard, PA, and Dana Williams (Brenda) of Lakeland, FL, and a sister, Diane Herhold (Gene) of Girard, PA, and eight nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by her dear friend, Gladys Long.

Elaine actively served her precious Lord and Savior, Jesus, at the former Lighthouse Assembly of God church in Pennsburg, PA. She faithfully taught a Women's Bible Study for many years. Her entire life, Elaine actively continued ministering and serving others.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 1, at the Souderton Mennonite Homes, Summit View Auditorium, 207 West Summit Street, Souderton, PA 18964, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
