Vera L. Kasinger, age 88, of Harleysville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday morning, June 12, 2022 at Jefferson Lansdale Hospital, Lansdale. Born in Calloway County, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Curtis G. and Josie G. (Pauley) Largent. She was the wife of Robert C. Kasinger, who died April 7, 2012. They were married June 4, 1955 and were long-time members of Bethany Bible Fellowship Church, Hatfield.

In addition to being a mother and homemaker, she was a bookkeeper for T. W. Keller and then Economic Data, Inc. for many years.  She volunteered for Meals on Wheels and at the Indian Valley Public Library. Vera was an avid Phillies fan and enjoyed gardening, reading, playing Quiddler, and doing jigsaw puzzles.

Vera is survived by two daughters: Janet M. Harwick and husband Dwain N. of Lynchburg, VA, and Beth A. Jacobson and husband Douglas M. with whom she resided in Harleysville; two granddaughters: Raeann Reynolds and her sons Isaiah and Liam of Lynchburg, VA, and Melissa McCann and husband Jonathan and their daughters Alayjah, Nadiya and Ariah of Redmond, OR.

Vera is survived by one brother: Glen W. Largent of Barto, PA, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four sisters: Ellen Capaldi, Dorothy G. Wile, Aileen Steele, Martha L. Kreder and one brother: Kenneth R. Largent.

The family will greet friends on Saturday, June 18 from 10:00-11:00 AM in the Welcome Center of Bethany Bible Fellowship Church, 75 W. Broad St., Hatfield. The memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM. There will be a luncheon following the service for all to attend. Private burial will take place June 17.
