Ursula "Ursel" Maria Cubranich, age 84, of Oxford, Maryland, formerly of Lansdale, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Ladislaw Dominik Cubranich with whom she shared over 57 years of marriage.

Born October 7, 1938, in Hamburg, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Hans Wilhelm and Mariechen Luise Wilma (Willers) Kohler.

Ursula was a second-generation optician and business owner who established the Optical Galerie in Hatfield in 1977. The business was later moved to Souderton with her son Mark continuing the business.  Known for her friendly demeanor and German accent, Ursel was easily loved and remembered by those whose lives she touched.

Ursula is survived by her sons, Lawrence D. Cubranich of Schwenksville and Mark A. Cubranich of Souderton; grandchildren, Sylta and Piro Cubranich; and step grandchildren, William and Mahlon Omlor.

Services for Ursula will be private.
