Ty Adam Diffenderfer, age 13, of Gilbertsville, died Wednesday evening, June 28, in Hatfield Township, as a pedestrian, after being hit by an automobile.  Born in Sellersville, Ty was the son of Mark A. Diffenderfer of Gilbertsville and the late Erika (Butts) Diffenderfer.

Ty just finished 8th grade, with honors, at Boyertown Middle School East.  He loved wrestling and was competitive.  Ty loved all sports and had a team spirit which was obvious whether it was Lacrosse, basketball, wrestling or football.

In addition to his father Mark, Ty is survived by his sister Ava, all his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and many beloved friends.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister Anna Lee Diffenderfer on May 29, 2006.

Relatives and friends are invited to Ty's Memorial Service at 12:00 noon, Friday, July 7 at Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford 18969 (Franconia Township). Viewing (open casket) from 10-11AM.  From 11:00-12:00 noon the visitation will continue with the casket closed.  The burial will be private at Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown.
