Thomas "Shadow" Scopino, 75, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023, at his Harleysville home with his family by his side.
Thomas, affectionately known as Tommy, was born in Yonkers, NY, on August 26, 1948, to the late Adalino and Arliene Scopino. He was a graduate of Yonkers High School, class of 1967. Tommy would often recount his childhood with his brothers and family, his antics with his friends, and his camping trips upstate. He served in the United States Navy from 1967-1970 during the Vietnam War.
Tommy had worked as a maintenance director for Sarah Lawrence College, Sarah Neuman Nursing Home, Sunburst Communications, Gross and Quade, and Arbour Square. While Tommy loved helping people, his passion was in music. From a young age, Tommy played the drums with countless bands. He found joy playing alongside the many musicians he shared the stage with over the years. Tommy ended his music career teaching students, giving drum lessons at his home.
Tommy is survived by his beloved wife, Debbie Scopino, as well as his daughters: Erica Scopino, and her husband Greg Foran; and Kristen Scopino.
