Susan L. Voorhoeve, 95, of Harleysville, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at the Peter Becker Community where she was a resident.  She was the wife of the late Ernst Voorhoeve.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Hector and Olive Sinzheimer.

Susan was a graduate of Germantown High School.  She had worked at Eastern Regional Research Laboratories, Bell Telephone Company, Woolworth's, John Wanamaker and The Clothes Tree.

Susan was a member of the Christian Women's Club and enjoyed playing the piano, reading, needlepoint and swimming.

She is survived by her three daughters, Janet Ruth Snyder of North Wales, Susan Elaine Sauer of Brighton, CO and Jennifer Anne Bradshaw of Yardley; a sister, Cornelia Schmaelzle of Cape May Courthouse, NJ; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, August 12, at the Peter Becker Community Chapel, 800 Maple Ave., Harleysville, 19438, where the family will receive friends from 11-11:45 AM.  Interment will be private in Whitemarsh Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Susan's name to Peter Becker Community Benevolence Fund, 800 Maple Ave., Harleysville, PA 19438.
