Susan L. Caldwell, 65, of Harleysville, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024.  She was the wife of the late Joseph T. Caldwell.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Claire McClain.

Mrs. Caldwell worked for Aetna/Aetna US Healthcare, Health Advocate and the PMA Group throughout her career in the healthcare field.  Upon her retirement, she dedicated countless hours to volunteering her time – delivering Meals on Wheels, assisting the elderly, and playing a key role on the board of her condominium's homeowner's association.  She was an avid reader and she enjoyed exchanging books with -and spending time with- her wonderful neighbors.  Susan was a devout Philadelphia Sports fan and she enjoyed hosting on Sundays for Eagles games or whenever her beloved Philly teams were playing.  Sue loved to travel the world and she took full advantage of every opportunity she had to discover somewhere new.  Above all else, Susan lived her life with an unwavering sense of optimism and an unconditional love for her family. She made every day of her life count to the fullest and she lived with zero regrets.

Susan is survived by her children, Timothy Caldwell (Angela) of Schwenksville, Eileen Morgan of Harleysville, and Meghan Shutt (Michael) of Hatfield; her grandchildren Mia, Joe, Keira, and Kendra; her siblings Terry McClain, Joe McClain, Eileen McClain Flint, Michelle Sheridan, Marybeth Burns, and John McClain.

A memorial service will be held at 12 PM on Friday, February 9, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, 18969.  Please feel free to wear Philadelphia sports attire.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society or The American Stroke Association.
