Stuart J. Dockeray, 82, of Harleysville, died on Sunday, February 6, 2022.

Born in Shenandoah, PA, he was a son of the late James and Sarah (nee Lawson) Dockeray.  Stuart was a graduate of J. W. Cooper High School, class of 1957 and Penn State University, class of 1961.  He served in the United States Army from 1961-1964 and in the Army Reserves from 1964-1967.  Stuart worked in the accounting department of the former Budd Company in Philadelphia for 42 years.

He is survived by siblings, Hugh Dockeray and his wife, Judy, of New Holland, and Nancy Weiss of Reading; nieces, Laurie Vercoe, Susan Fischer, and Sarah Weiss; and nephews, Bill Dockeray and John Weiss.

His extended family included Lawson cousins, members of Enfield and North Ridge Bible Chapels, and residents of Peter Becker Community, especially his faithful friend, Marge.

Stu lived simply so that he was able to give to others.  He spent his life living faithfully for the Lord, sharing the Gospel at every opportunity.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 15, at the Peter Becker Community Chapel, 800 Maple Ave, Harleysville, 19438, where the family will greet friends from 10:30-11.
