Sarah R. Forsythe, age 96, of Souderton, passed away on Monday July 21, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul A. Forsythe with whom she shared over 72 years of marriage.

Born August 25, 1928, in New Berlinville, she was a daughter of the late Henry Thomas and Mary (Reiter) Bechtel

Sarah enjoyed camping and traveling; they belonged to the Indian Valley Camp Club for over ten years. She enjoyed taking bus trips, square dancing, sewing, and ceramics. She cherished her family and loved the times they spent together.

Sarah is survived by her children, Darryl D. Forsythe and his wife, Brenda J., of Salisbury, MD, and Keith Forsythe and his wife, Joyce E., of Quakertown PA; 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

A memorial service for Sarah will take place at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Souderton Mennonite Homes Summit View Auditorium, 207 W. Summit Street, Souderton, where the family will greet guests from 1:30 – 2:00 PM. If you cannot attend the service, you can view by clicking here . Interment will be private.
