Sandra Schury, 83, passed away leaving a legacy of laughter, entrepreneurial success, and deep family devotion.

Born in Chicago to Adolph and Margaret Roupe, Sandra was known throughout her life for her funny, eccentric personality and her legendary signature eye roll. She was a woman who truly loved a good party with friends and brought vibrant energy into every room she
entered.

Sandra was a trailblazer in business. After holding several different jobs, she followed her sharp instincts and founded her own company, S & S Sales. Working as a wholesale representative for giftware companies, her venture became so phenomenally successful that her husband eventually quit his own job to join her team. Together, they built a thriving business that stood as a testament to her hard work and vision.

Beyond her professional achievements, Sandra's true passion was her family and friends. She cherished every moment spent with them, creating countless memories. She also had a wonderful zest for life's simple pleasures, finding joy in hunting for treasures at garage sales, decorating, going shopping, and testing her luck at the casino.

She was preceded in death by her beloved children, William Schury Jr. and Carrie Schury.

Her memory will be kept alive by her husband William, brother Donald and surviving children, Ronald and Craig, along with her 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, all of whom will deeply miss her spirit, her humor, and her unconditional love.

A celebration of Sandra's life will be held at Peter Becker community on June 20th from 12- 4pm in the Pavilion by her family to honor the joy and laughter she brought to the world.
