Sandra Gail Clemmer, age 80, of Langhorne, formerly of Souderton, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Leslie R. Clemmer, Sr. with whom she shared over 54 years of marriage.
Born April 22, 1942, in Morwood, she was a daughter of the late John and Ruth (Kooker) Yoder.
Sandra graduated from Souderton Area High School. During her high school days, she babysat for the local neighbors and helped around the house. After high school Sandra became a school bus driver for a few years before working in a local factory in Souderton as a Seamstress. She later went on to work as a secretary and accounting assistant with the Charles Ryan Firm. During that time, she went back to Montgomery County Community College to take advanced accounting courses. She moved on to work as the Secretary of the Souderton Police Station and later transitioned over to supporting the Souderton Borough where she later retired.
Sandra was involved with her community throughout her life. She was an active member in her church, Little Zion Lutheran Church in Telford. She took part in Sunday school, church functions, as a Youth Group Leader, cooking for functions, quilting group, making Fasnacht's and as a member of the Altar Guild. In January of 1969, she joined the Order of the Eastern Star where she was engaged in many roles within the organization over the 54 years of membership. In addition, she was a lifetime member of the Souderton Ladies Auxiliary. During these many years that she devoted herself to the community as a leader and supporting member engaging in events like Pot-Pie Dinners, Bingo Nights, Penny Auctions, Casino Bus Trips, breakfasts, Easter Craft/Flower Sales and so much more.
Sandra is survived by her children, Leslie R. Clemmer, Jr. and his wife, Martha, Tim Clemmer, and Krista Andujar and her husband, Luis; grandchildren, Sean Clemmer, Brigitte Jonuzi and her husband, Tony, Lisa Clemmer, Tracey Clemmer, Dion Clemmer, Nicole Clemmer, Gabriella Andujar and Angelina Andujar; seven great grandchildren; siblings, Marge Floyd and her husband, Russ, Joan Book and her husband Bill, and Kathy Landis and her husband Jim. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Dwayne Clemmer; and daughter, Jodi Michelle Clemmer.
A viewing for Sandra will take place on Sunday, April 2, 2023, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford and again on Monday, April 3, 2023 at Little Zion Lutheran Church, 267 Morwood Road, Telford from 10:00 -10:45 AM, where her funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in the adjacent church cemetery.
