Russell Yoder, age 68, of Franconia Twp., died Wednesday morning, July 3, at his residence.  Born in Sellersville, he was the son of the late Norman K. & Anna Mae (Yothers) Yoder.

Russell attended Souderton Area High School, later obtaining his GED.  As a young man he was employed by Bergey's Tire & Auto Service, Franconia.  Russell was a U.S. Navy Veteran who was Honorably Discharged in 1976.

Russell was a member of Hopewell Christian Fellowship.  He loved the Lord and desired to further his Biblical knowledge. He completed several Biblical courses online.

He is survived by eight siblings:
Wilmer Yoder, wife Margaret, of Red Hill, Esther Kratz, widow of the late Harold Kratz, Souderton, Anna Wambold, widow of the late Lamar Wambold, Souderton, Marian Shultz, widow of the late Lambert Shultz, Red Hill, Bessie Anglemoyer, husband Gary, Sellersville, Norman Yoder, wife Mary Jane, Telford, Faye Loffredo husband Larry, Hatfield, Rodney L. Yoder, wife Penny, Harleysville, his friend and caregiver for 34 years, Wayne Fry, 22 nieces and nephews, many grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends at Towamencin Mennonite Church, 1980 Sumneytown Pike, Kulpsville 19443 on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 1:30-2:30pm, followed by the funeral service at 2:45pm.  Burial follows in the adjoining church cemetery.
