Obituary

Ronald L. Wisler, 73, of Pottstown, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, August 27, 2022.  He was the husband of Sharon (Berkey) Wisler. They would have shared 51 years of marriage in December.

Raised in Evansburg, he was the son of the late Claude and Florence Wisler.  He was a graduate of Collegeville-Trappe High School, class of 1967.  Ron had worked as Vice President for Twin County Construction in Limerick where he practiced his love of architecture, estimating, drafting, and project management.

He was a member of Parker Ford Church in Pottstown, where he quietly served as a trustee and deacon, caring for the building, grounds and his beloved church family.  Ron enjoyed spending time outdoors, trying different foods, vacationing with loved ones, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, one daughter, fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Christopher M. Wisler and his wife Bethany of Elverson and their four daughters Emily (Wisler) Ammon and her son Holden, Ashley (Wisler) Lease, Rebecca and her daughter Brooklyn, and Leah; Stephen G. Wisler and his wife Sara of Elverson and their six children Ethan, Andrew, Eli, Kayla, Ana, and Tom; Michael J. Wisler and his wife Lydia of Lititz and their 3 children Hannah, Caleb, and Eden; and Amy E. (Wisler) Dorris and her husband Kenneth of Perkiomenville and their two sons Jackson and Grayson.  He is also survived by his four sisters, Janet (Wisler) Derstine, Darlene (Wisler) Spengler, Nancy (Wisler) Mosser, Sharon Wisler and one brother Stanley Wisler.

A funeral service for Ronald will be held at 11 AM on Friday, September 2, at Parker Ford Church, 20 Rinehart Road, Pottstown, 19465, where the family will receive friends from 9:30-10:45 AM.  Burial will be private in Limerick Garden of Memories with a luncheon for guests to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be accepted by Parker Ford Church and divided equally among the following organizations that are special to his wife and children; Hope Rescue Mission, Harvest USA, Lititz Area Mennonite School, The Wyndcroft School, and Parker Ford Church missions.
