Ronald A. Hanish, 79, of Telford, died on Thursday, September 12, 2024.  He passed peacefully at home with his loving wife of 57 years, Maureen, by his side.

Born in Philadelphia on June 29th, 1945, he was the son of the late Andrew and Matilda Hanish.

Ron was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School, class of 1963 and attended LaSalle University.

In 1973, Ron moved to the suburbs to raise his family and continue his career at Merck & Co, Inc. He retired from Merck after 36 years.

He was a member of Souderton - Harleysville Game, Fish and Forestry Association.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, and traveling.  Ron cherished spending time with his family in Brigantine and Harvey Cedars, as well as regular visits to the Caribbean islands with Maureen.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Claire Hanish-Russell (Bill), Christa Euksuzian (Franck), Ron Hanish (Tiffany), and Cathleen White (Kevin); eleven grandchildren, Colette, Gavin, Shane, Connor, Christian, Charlotte, McKaela, Sadie, Maddox, Maggie, and Amelia; and a sister Patricia Minuto (Larry).

A funeral mass will be held at 11 AM on Friday, September 20, at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, 445 Main Street, Sellersville, 18960, where the family will receive friends and relatives from 9:30-10:45 AM.  Words of remembrance by the family will be at 10:45.

Interment will be private.
