Obituary

Robin Blaine Landis, age 63, of Harleysville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, December 20, 2025.

Born March 14, 1962, in Sellersville, he was a son of the late Paul Alderfer and Mathilda Madeline (Kerver) Landis.

Robin was employed as a custodian at Penn View Christian School for 23 years, retiring in March of 2024. He loved spending time outdoors and was incredibly passionate about hunting, fishing, and gardening. You won't find many pictures of Rob without a hunting or fishing trophy in his hands.

He also loved spending time with his kids and grandkids, always cooking the meal for the weekly and very famously known "Sunday Dinners."

Rob was a regular attender at Faith Bible Fellowship Church for over 20 years. He adored his Savior, Jesus Christ, and loved spending time the last few years deeply studying the Bible and having conversations with his children and grandkids about the Lord. Rob was well known for finishing his text messages with "God bless you and your family."

Rob always bonded with his children over his love for sports and the outdoors. He was very competitive as he spent many years playing on Faith Bible's softball team and began coaching the team the last few years. He was also a huge Minnesota Vikings fan, no matter the highs and lows of his favorite team. Robin had a servant's heart, always ready to help others without any notice and never wanted anything in return. He was so loved by family and friends and will be incredibly missed by many!

Robin is survived by his four children, with whom he had with his former wife Brenda (Svoboda) Hubert, Blaine Landis, Trisha Snyder and her husband Ronald, Stephanie Kiser and her husband Jeremy, and Brett Landis and his wife Emily; grandchildren Dominic, Noah, Alivia, Declan, Emmitt and Emery; siblings Paul Landis, Wanda Buso and her husband Ivan, Shirley Hagan and her husband Pat, and Jan Landis and his wife Becky. Robin is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members.

A funeral service for Robin will take place at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Faith Bible Fellowship Church, 140 Harleysville Pike, Harleysville, where the family will greet guests from 4:00 – 5:45 PM. Rob's favorite color was purple for his love for the Vikings so we would ask for those coming to wear purple in his honor.

Interment will be private.
