Robert E. Sheak Jr., age 79, of Skippack, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Linda (Roberts) Sheak with whom she shared over 26 years of marriage.
Born June 16, 1944, in Buffalo, New York, he was a son of the late Robert E. Sr. and Gertrude (Lewinski) Sheak. Robert worked at both Westinghouse and Allen Scott as a printer for a combined 23 years. He then went onto retire after 32 years of service from the United States Postal Service.
His interests included bowling for the Silent Athletic Club, which he was a part of for 10 years, as well as golfing as a member of the Eastern PA Deaf Golf Association for 25 years and was also involved with International Deaf Catholic Association activities. Robert loved to travel and mostly enjoyed playing golf. His love of the beach and his family were always an enjoyable time. He adored spending time with all his step- grandchildren, especially watching them play basketball, baseball and soccer. He was a lifelong fan of the Buffalo Bills and his all-time favorite NFL player was Jim Brown.
In addition to his wife Linda, Robert is survived by his step-children Jennifer Curran and her husband Kevin of Schwenksville PA, Christopher Hadersbeck and his wife Emily of Whitehall PA, Stephen Latchic and his wife Colleen of Harleysville Pa, 8 Step- grandchildren Hannah, Elizabeth, Ella, George, Ethan, Sophia, Chase, and Ava.
He is also survived by his 3 children Judy, Maria, Robert III and 4 grandchildren.
A memorial service for Robert will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, February 1, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 1530 Augsburg Drive, Hilltown Township, PA 18927 where the family will receive family and friends beginning at 9 AM.
Interment will be private.
