Obituary

Robert Allen Kulp, 64, of Upper Salford Township, peacefully passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025. Born in Sellersville, PA, he was the son of the late John and Dorothy Kulp.

Bob worked for many years as a chef in restaurant and foodservice management, including at Eagle Lodge, Indian Valley Country Club, Christopher Dock, and most recently as a private chef. He has been a member of the Upper Salford Volunteer Fire Company for 28 years. He has faithfully served as a firefighter, engineer, and trustee for the company. In addition, he has also spent time volunteering with Towamencin Fire Company for many years.

Bob loved nature and spending much of his time outdoors. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, spending time with his dogs, and watching sunsets. Bob was fondly known as "Pappy" to his two grandchildren and loved teaching them to explore and discover. Bob never hesitated to help someone in need. He will be remembered for his strength and resiliency, his gratitude for the life he was given, and his great sense of humor.

He is survived by his son, Justin Kulp and his wife, Christine, of Harleysville; his two grandchildren, Auri and Levi Kulp; his brother, Michael Kulp and his wife, Susan, of Sellersville; nieces Kendra Nelson and her husband, Aaron, of Telford, Kristin Stoltzfus of Telford, and Farrah Blackburn and her husband, Bill, of Towamencin; and great-nieces Clara and Anna Nelson, and Molly and Ellie Blackburn. He is also survived by his former spouse, Dianne Kulp.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin sisters, Christine Ann Kulp and Kathleen Louise Stoltzfus, and a brother, David Kulp.

A celebration of Robert's life will be held outdoors at 2 PM on Sunday, August 10, at the Upper Salford Volunteer Fire Company, 782 Old Skippack Rd., Salfordville, PA 18958. All friends and their families are welcome to gather following the ceremony for a casual and relaxed afternoon celebrating Bob. Guests are invited to bring or fill out a note about how they best remembered Bob to leave with the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Manna on Main Street, Donate Now Manna on Main Street , or a dog rescue of your choice.
