Robert M. Jamison, Sr., 78, of Collegeville, formerly of Souderton, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022.  He was the husband of Ellen L. Jamison, with whom he shared 54 years of marriage.

Born in Ridley Park, he was the son of the late Samuel and Marie Jamison.  Robert was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1963.   He served in the United States Navy, from 1963-1967, serving on the USS Laffey.

He had worked at Rosenberger's Dairy, Hatfield and Abbott Dairy, Norristown.

Robert enjoyed all sports and was an avid fan of the Eagles and Phillies.  He coached wrestling at Indian Crest Junior High School, Souderton, and at Souderton Area High School.  He also coached youth wrestling in Souderton.  Robert played senior softball in the Hatfield Senior League.  Some of his best times were going with his son Robert to NCAA Wrestling Championships.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Christine Lacy of Glassboro, NJ and Robert M. Jamison Jr. of Honeybrook, PA, and four grandchildren, Tayler, Caley, Cameryn and Cole.  He loved all animals especially dogs and will be missed by his two rescues Remy and Shiloh.

He was preceded in by death his brothers, Sam and Richard and a twin sister Margaret.

Services for Robert will be private.
