Robert B. "Bob" Donaldson III, age 89, of Chalfont, formerly of Hatfield, died on Friday, July 24, 2026. He was the beloved husband of the late Joan Elizabeth (Dixon) Donaldson, to whom he was married for 58 years.

Born October 15, 1936, in Teaneck NJ, he was the son of the late Marie (Behnke) and Robert B. Donaldson Jr.

Bob was a member of Gwynedd Square Presbyterian Church, the Hatfield American Legion, Post # 933 and Cannoneers Sportsmens Club, Lansdale. Bob enjoyed golfing, lottery scratch off tickets, watching sports and cooking.

Bob is survived by his daughters Katharine E. Donaldson and Karen Donaldson O'Connell (Bob Mastronardi); grandchildren Madison, Cooper and Chip O'Connell; sister Janice Donaldson Dorsey and her husband Chuck and brother-in-law Chris Nielson. He was predeceased by his sister-in-law Judith Dixon Nielson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Family and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Saturday, August 15th at 11:00 AM at Gwynedd Square Presbyterian Church, 837 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA 19446, where the family will greet guests from 10:00 – 10:45 AM. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bob's name may be made to either Gwynedd Square Presbyterian Church, 837 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA 19446, Cannoneers Sportsmens Club, 501 W. 5th Street, Lansdale, PA 19446 or Hatfield American Legion Post 933, 2100 Koffel Road, Hatfield, PA 19440 or a charity of donor's choice.
