Rhoda Gaugler, 91, of Harleysville, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023.  She was the wife of the late Dr. George H. Gaugler, Jr., with whom she shared 70 years of marriage.

Born in Souderton, she was the daughter of the late Laaden and Elizabeth Clemmer.  Rhoda was a graduate of Souderton High School and Juniata College.

She had worked as a dental assistant in her husband's dental practice.

Rhoda enjoyed music and was a former choir director at Zion Mennonite Church, Souderton.  She also enjoyed cooking and baking pies, most of all she loved taking care of her grandchildren.

Rhoda is survived by her three sons, George H. Gaugler, III and his wife, Nancy, Dale Gaugler and his wife, Donna, and Tim Gaugler and his wife, Denise, eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Lake Clemmer and Walter Clemmer.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, October 2, at the Peter Becker Community Chapel, 800 Maple Ave., Harleysville, 19438, where the family will receive friends during the luncheon immediately following the service.
