Obituary

Raymond Russell Williams entered into his eternal rest on November 9, 2021.  He was born October 4 th , 1933, to Raymond & Mary (Godshall) Williams.  He married Betty Sue Bolding in Oklahoma in 1953 and they had 5 children:  Brenda (Bill) Trauger, Robert (Shirley), Barbara (Mark) Moyer, Cheryl (Rick) Williams, and Ralph.  Betty and Ray had 52 years of a wonderful marriage before she passed away in 2005.  In 2014, Ray found love for a second time and married Janice (Cowles) Feldkamp.  She added 3 stepchildren to Ray's life:  Thomas (Emily), Edward (Amy) and Rebecca (Rich) Klavon.  Ray is also survived by 6 grandchildren:  David (Jonel) Kuremsky, Eric (Angela) Kuremsky, Denise (Dustin) Ross, Ryan (Kelsey) Williams, Kristen & Melissa Williams, 3 great grandchildren: Abigail Kuremsky & Kolby & Jase Williams, 3 step-grandchildren: Luke & Ethan Feldkamp and Nickolas Klavon.

He is also survived by brothers Richard and Rance, and sister Dotti Sullivan, sister-in-law, Joan, brother-in-law Frank (Pat) Clymer, extended family members and many dear friends.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Harold Hellyer, brothers Ronnie, Randy, Bill and Kenneth, sister, Leila Clymer, sisters-in-law Lynn and Cathy, and infant son, Ralph.

Ray was born in Lansdale, PA and lived in Philadelphia, New Jersey and Sellersville growing up.  He graduated from Sell-Perk HS in 1955 and served in the Navy during the Korean War era as a flight mechanic.  He was always gifted with mechanical abilities and was involved in the repair and construction of many places throughout the Bucks/Mont area.

He worked at The Gauge in Perkasie for 38+ years, retiring in 1994.

He was a member of the Jaycees, served as committeeman for the elections, was building inspector & zoning officer and many other positions and organizations throughout the community.

Ray enjoyed traveling and had visited 49 states and many countries.  He always appreciated the beauty of God's creation.  He also enjoyed keeping up with current news and could talk about most any topic.  He enjoyed reading – especially history and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Ray accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior as a young man and was always grateful for the many years that he had to grow in his walk with his Lord.  In later years, he enjoyed making 'antler art' which he freely gave as gifts.  He also enjoyed ministering to the Navajo in New Mexico with his wife, Janice.

There will be a funeral service on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 12 noon at First Baptist Church, 1600 N. 5 th St, Perkasie, PA with visitation beginning at 10:30 before the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be given to Re:vivals Ministry, 4 S.
