Ray Mark Histand, 90, of Souderton, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 27, 2022.  He was the husband of the late Louise R. Histand.

Born in Plumstead Twp., he was a son of the late Paul and Mary Histand.

Ray had worked at Paul W. Histand Farm Equipment, Eastern Prestressed Concrete and Rogers Mechanical.  After retiring he delivered campers for Indian Valley Camping Center.

He was a member of Blooming Glen Mennonite Church and enjoyed golfing, bowling, and collecting Winn Ross Trucks.  Ray enjoyed traveling to Myrtle Beach, and Cancun and in his later years spending winters in Sarasota, FL, where he loved to ride his bike.  He also enjoyed visiting with his Lions Gate neighbors on his front porch and the 30 plus years of early Sunday morning coffee and donuts with sons-in-law Mike and Claire.

Ray is survived by his children, Donna Keller (Claire), Wendy Laureiro (Carlos), Andrea Bergey (Michael) and Steve M. Histand (Bronwyn); seven grandchildren, Daniel, Julie, David, Elena, Kyle, Connor and Jenn; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Norma Lehman (Hershey) and Darlene Swartley (Dennis); a sister-in-law, Libby Histand.

In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a brother Clyde Histand.

A graveside service will be held at 3 PM on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Blooming Glen Mennonite Church Cemetery, 713 Blooming Glen Rd, Blooming Glen, PA 18911.  The family will greet friends at 4 PM in the Welcome Center of Blooming Glen Mennonite Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ray's name to Spruce Lake Retreat Camp, 5389 Rt. 447, Canadensis, PA 18325.
