Obituary

R. Jonathan "Jon" Clemmer, 76, of Telford, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024.  He was the husband of Betty (Yothers) Clemmer, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage.

Born in Sellersville, he was the son of Roy and Jean (Godshall) Clemmer.  Jon was a graduate of Souderton Area High School, class of 1965.  After high school he attended Spring Garden Institute for mechanics.

Jon was a co-owner of Moyer & Son, Inc., Telford.  Prior to that he also worked at Bergey's Inc. as a mechanic, as well as at NYU Medical Center.

He was a member and past president of Souderton-Telford Rotary and a former president of the board of Indian Creek Foundation.

Jon was an avid golfer, achieving 5 hole-in-ones.  He enjoyed traveling, snowmobiling, and in his younger years, woodworking.  He was a proud grandfather who adored his two granddaughters.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters: Susan Clemmer of Telford and Stephanie Frey (Daniel) of Coopersburg, two grandchildren: Camdyn and Molly Frey of Coopersburg, three sisters: Justine Pletcher (Ken) of Goshen, IN, Janice Kauffman (Rollie) of Marshallville, OH, and Lisa Yoder(Gary) of Goshen, IN, a brother, Robert Clemmer of Hagerstown, MD, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be held on Monday, February 12, from 6-8 PM at the Wiliams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, PA 18969. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Tuesday, February 13 at Grace Bible Fellowship Church, 1811 N. Old Bethlehem Pk. Quakertown, PA 18951. Interment will be private in Zion Memorial Gardens, Telford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Indian Creek Foundation, 420 Cowpath Rd., Souderton, PA 18964 or to Grace Bible Fellowship Church at the above address.
