Phyllis Elaine Moran, age 82, of Harleysville, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. She was the beloved wife of John Raymond Moran, with whom she shared over 60 years of marriage.

Born October 21, 1939, in Bristol PA, she was a daughter of the late John Lewis and Ethel Mae (Schaefer) Hibbs.

Elaine enjoyed playing cards, especially pinochle, and was a member of a card club. She was an avid reader and loved animals. Her passion was her family, and she cherished the times they spent together.

In addition to her husband John, she is survived by her children, John R. Moran, Jr. and his partner, Maryellen Massaro, and Karen Moran. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Lewis Hibbs II.

A memorial service for Elaine will take place at 11:00 AM on May 19, 2022, at Christ Lutheran Church, 2211 Mainland Road, Harleysville, where the family will greet guests after the service.

Interment will be private.
