Philip Sharp, 91, of Jim Thorpe, formerly of Souderton, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023, surrounded by his family.  He was the husband of the late Hazel (Cannon) Sharp.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Forrest and Eva Sharp.  Philip served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.  He worked as a construction supervisor for Bell Telephone for 36 years.

Philip loved working and being outdoors.  He always enjoyed his building projects.  He was a member of the American Legion Warren Royer Post 234.  Philip was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his children, Phyllis (Sharp) McMaster and John Sharp, four grandchildren Robert McMaster and his wife Debra, Christopher McMaster, Holly (Sharp) Walsh and her husband John and John Brooks Sharp and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Philip was preceded in death by a son, William Sharp.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, November 9, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, 18969, where the family will receive friends from 10-10:45 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's Hospital or St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1601 Derstine Rd., Hatfield, PA 19440.
