Pauline B. Hendricks, age 102, passed away on Thursday January 15, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late John L. Hendricks.
Born December 26, 1923, in Tylersport, she was a daughter of the late Raymond A. and Sallie K. (Yerk) Barndt.
She married John L. Hendricks of Souderton on December 25, 1940. Her husband was drafted and Pauline worked. When she was permitted, she traveled to Kentucky and other miscellaneous states where he was stationed to see her husband until he was deployed.
After her husband returned from war, 4 years later, John joined his father in the Auction business and Pauline alongside of him as his clerk, which they did for 45 years.
Pauline was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Telford. She was a Boy Scout den leader and a Girl Scout leader. She enjoyed working alongside her husband on auctions, traveling with her husband to California, Mexico and Florida. Pauline worked various tailor shops, with the last being Swagger Tailor shop. Pauline enjoyed playing pinochle and doing word search books. Living with her daughter and son-in-law for four years, she enjoyed playing rummy every night with them. She loved watching the Eagles and the Phillies games. She was also an excellent baker and cook. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter Sandra Clemens and her husband Greg; grandchildren Chad Clemens and his wife Ann Marie, Stephanie Dinsmore and her husband Scott, Jill Riccio and her husband David, J. Michael Hendricks and his wife Lauren, Zachary Hendricks and his wife Brianna; great grandchildren Chad Jr. and Braydon Clemens, Alexis and Alana Dinsmore, Juliana, Jordana and Jaclyn Riccio, Evan, Caroline and Bryn Hendricks, Joseph Hendricks; daughter-in-law Karen Hendricks. She was preceded in death by her son John R. Hendricks.
Service for Pauline will be private. Interment will take place at St. Michael's Cemetery.
