Paul J. Manton, 71, of Harleysville, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Christine A. Manton, with whom he shared 46 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Richard and Regina Manton and brother of the late Richard Manton and Ann (Hollowniczky).

Paul was a 1972 graduate of Springfield High School. He worked a variety of jobs throughout his life, primarily as an electronics technician in his most recent years. Earlier positions were working in acoustics at Temple University, where he also hosted the university radio show. Following this he held positions with SEPTA, septic system maintenance, among others.

Paul was an avid model railroad enthusiast and had a passion for railfanning. He enjoyed taking his girls camping and vacationing in the Poconos. Music played a significant role in his life. For many years he played in a small band with his friends as the vocalist and electric pianist.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his beloved daughters, Victoria Manton (Brandon Handley) and Rebecca Manton (Ryan Kochersperger); and his siblings, Michael, Patricia, David, Eileen, and Janet. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as his 32 pets and grand-pets consisting of dogs, cats, goats, and chickens.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 9, from 10 to 11 AM at Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, PA 18969, where a funeral service will follow at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Souderton Mennonite Church or to a pet rescue of one’s choice.
