Obituary

Patrick T. Gardenier, 72, of Souderton, formerly of Harleysville, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.  He was the husband of Patricia (Moore) Gardenier, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage.

Born in Long Island, NY he was the son of the late Charles and Virginia Gardenier.

He was a graduate of Phoenixville High School, class of 1970.

Patrick was an independent insurance agent and President of Personal Health Services, Inc. for 22 years.

He was an avid bowler.  Pat was a regional professional bowler in the 1980s and had bowled several perfect games.  In 1981 he was Philadelphia Bowling Congress All Events Champion.  He and his wife Patricia bowled in a couple's league for over 25 years.

Patrick was a loving son of proud Army Veteran Parents.  He had a lot of love for God, Country, and Corvettes.  With his family he enjoyed golf, baseball, and cheering for local Philadelphia sports teams.

Patrick was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Hatfield from 1981-2015.  Starting in 2015 he was a member of  St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Schwenksville, where he attended daily mass regularly and often attended the Eucharistic Adoration.  Patrick had a strong devotion to Divine Mercy and the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents and brother Michael.  He is survived by his wife, Patricia; by his three sons: David Ferguson, his wife Tracey, their children Cole and Jade; Jonathan Gardenier, his wife Kristin, and their children Viviana and Grant; and Daniel Gardenier, his wife Daniela, and their children Joseph, Tres, and Kylee.  He is also survived by his twin brother Kevin Gardenier, sister Carol Cazzaniga, brother Timothy Gardenier, and their respective families.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 AM on Saturday, January 11, at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 40 Spring Mount Road, Schwenksville, PA 19473, where a viewing will take place from 10-10:45 AM.  Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
