Noretta "Rita" Mangum, 87, of Harleysville, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 30, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Glyn Mangum.

Born in Richmond, VA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Lorena Akers. She graduated from John Marshall High School in 1956.

Rita had a fulfilling career as an office manager, dedicating many years to Biblical Theological Seminary in Hatfield and Waddell & Reed. She took great joy in her work.

A devoted member of Grace Bible Church in Souderton, Rita was actively involved in the church choir and cherished trips to Sight & Sound Theatre.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Doug Mangum (Patti) and Todd Mangum (Linda); her sister, Jeanne Carter (Wayne); six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Hope Mangum.

A memorial service for Rita will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 13, at the Peter Becker Community Chapel, 800 Maple Avenue, Harleysville, PA 19438, where the family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 PM.
