Mathilda "Tillie" Loburak, 99, of Hatfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 2, 2022.  She was the wife of the late Edward Schmitt, Sr. and the late Nicholas Loburak.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was a daughter of the late Aloysius and Elizabeth Schoenacher.

Tillie was an avid reader, enjoyed embroidering and loved spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her stepson Walter Loburak, daughter-in-law Jennie Schmitt, grandchildren Jennifer Enders (Rich), Colleen Schmitt-Krieger (Ryan), Raymond Thomas (Holly) and Ryan Thomas.

In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by her son Edward Schmitt, Jr., infant daughter Barbara and her siblings Elizabeth, Joseph, Charles, Gerard and Paul.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, March 7 at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1601 Derstine Rd., Hatfield, 19440, where a viewing will take place from 9:30-10:15 AM.   A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, March 8 at St. Patrick Cemetery, 2300 Dekalb Pike, Norristown, 19401.
