Mary L. Yeakel

Mary L. Yeakel, 93, of Hilltown, PA, passed away early Saturday morning, October 3, 2026. She was the wife of the late Kenneth J. Yeakel who passed away in 2015. They had been married for 65 years at the time of his passing.

Born October 24, 1932, in Souderton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Alice (Hendricks) Reed. She was a graduate of Souderton High School.

Surviving are four children, Scott Yeakel and his wife, Marie, Carol Sensinger and her husband, Jim, Debbie Moser and her husband, Craig, and Denise Frantz and her husband Larry; and ten grandchildren, Jeff, Keith, Brad, Kim, Kelly, Matthew, Jason, Jeremy, Chad and Courtney. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Gloria Crouthamel and her husband, Allan.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by nine siblings, Charles Reed, Dorothy Underkoffler, Ida Allebach, Ellen Moore, Ethel Shoemaker, Arlene Schlossman, Gladys Lawrence, Mae Wolf and Marian Hinkle.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 am on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, PA, where friends may call for her viewing from 10-11 am.
