Mary Louise "Ree" Thompson, 80, passed away Thursday night, December 8, 2022, at Brittany Pointe Estates in Lansdale, PA, where she resided since 2015. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Thompson who passed away in 2016. They were married for 45 years at the time of his passing and had formerly resided in Harleysville, PA, since 1972.

Born January 13, 1942, in West Chester, PA, she was a daughter of the late James Patrick and Mary Magdalen (Hynes) Kehoe. She was a graduate of Bishop Shanahan High School.

Mrs. Thompson was a certified x-ray technician. She was employed for many years with North Penn Orthopedics, retiring in 1992. Her hobbies included reading, quilting, and cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies. She also enjoyed knitting blankets for newborns and those in need.

Surviving is a son, Peter Thompson and his wife, Tessa, of Mickleton, NJ, along with two grandchildren, Mackenzie and Amelia Thompson; a stepdaughter, Janet Hathaway and her husband, Jeff, of Fort Myers, FL. She is also survived by two siblings, James Kehoe and his wife, Sandy, of Houston, TX, and Patricia Kehoe of Lancaster, PA; and three nephews and a niece, Michael, Brian, Andrew, and Erin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass at 10:30 am on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1601 Derstine Rd., Hatfield, PA, where family will receive friends for the viewing from 9:30 am – 10:15 am. Burial will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont, PA.
