Mary Ellen Nyce, age 96, of Telford, passed away on April 2nd surrounded by family. She was the wife of the late Arnold M. Nyce, her beloved husband of 73 years.

Born September 16, 1928, in Hilltown, PA, she was the daughter of the late William Lewis and Viola Moyer.

Mary Ellen was a graduate of the Hilltown Township High School, Class of 1946. She was a charter member of Calvary Church of Souderton. Mom-Mom, as she was affectionately known by her family, was renowned for her homemade applesauce. No family gathering was complete without her delicious apple sauce. She was devoted to God and prayed daily for her family members one by one, and every letter was closed with the powerful words, "Love and Prayers".

She is survived by her sons, Bruce and his wife, Karen, and Daniel and his wife, Tammie. She was Mom-Mom to Joshua and Nicole Nyce, Zachary and Haley Nyce, Sara and John Kangas, Lindsay and Josh Yanek, Kyle Nyce, Caleb Nyce, Ezekiel Nyce, and Caspian Nyce. She was Great Mom-Mom to Adam, Dylan, Gavin, Lilly, Della, Margot, Kennedy, Ella, Aidan, Walker, Zane, and Inez. She was predeceased by her son, Brent Nyce.

A celebration of Mary Ellen's life will take place at 10 AM on Saturday, June 21, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, PA 18969.  Interment will be in Calvary Church Cemetery, Souderton.
