Mary McInaw, ,88, of Lansdale, formerly of Harleysville, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Elm Terrace Gardens, where she was a resident.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Ellen McInaw. She grew up in Gwynedd Valley. In her younger days she was an excellent Irish Dancer and was recognized by the USO for her talent. Mary was also an avid piano player. She graduated from Little Flower Lansdale Catholic High School, class of 1955.

Mary had worked at Ballard Spahr in Philadelphia while residing in Ardmore. She dedicated her life to taking care of her parents, Anthony & Ellen, right up until their passing.

After retiring, she enjoyed working at Justin's Carriage House in Skippack, where she greeted guests daily and made many friends.

Her favorite memories were family gatherings, especially on the farm in Gwynedd Valley, music and singing. She met up frequently with her High School Friends for lunch throughout the years. She had many fond memories of time spent with Parkview at Oak Terrace friends where she resided for 20 years prior to moving to Elm Terrace.

Mary was always pleasant, polite and prided herself in being put together every day right up until the end. Her favorite sayings were "lovely" and 'Thank You".

She is survived by 19 nieces & nephews and 39 great nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Helen Fitzgerald, a sister, Margaret Bradley and two brothers, Patrick and Anthony McInaw.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, December 16, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1601 Derstine Road, Hatfield, PA 19440, where a viewing will be held from 9:30 AM – 10:15 AM.  Interment will be St. Patrick Cemetery, Norristown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to St. Maria  Goretti Catholic Church, at the above address.
