Mary Elizabeth "Mae" (Mattis) Fries, age 96, of Souderton, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. She was the beloved husband of the late Alvin J. Fries.

Born June 5, 1925, in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Mary Emma (Reed) Mattis.

Mae was raised and lived in Philadelphia. She later moved to Souderton to be closer to her daughter and her grandkids. Her love was her family, and she cherished the times they spent together.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Bradley and her husband, Christopher; grandchildren, Joseph, Robert, Christie Lynn and Elizabeth Emma.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death brothers, Edward, Horace and Robert; and sisters, Blanche and Emma.
